The foundation of our hotel was laid by Luise Dorfer, affectionately known as “Mother Dorfer”. She revolutionised tourism in Val Passiria/Passeiertal and was the driving force behind her family’s hotel business. She worked tirelessly and was a role model for her family. She always had a kind word for her guests and staff, and she is still to this day revered far beyond the borders of South Tyrol.
